Fort Worth police investigate report of home invasion
Fort Worth police are investigating a report of a home invasion involving three armed men in southern Tarrant County.
Police said they were told that two women, 25 and 27, were home watching television Thursday night with three children when three armed individuals wearing blue and yellow bandannas entered the house, in the 1100 block of Castle Springs Road.
One of the invaders fired a round in the kitchen and another pointed a shotgun at the victims, police said.
The invaders left through the garage, police said, after ordering one of the women to retrieve a stashed suitcase containing $4,000 from a bedroom.
The invasion occurred shortly after one of the victims’s boyfriends left the home, police said. One of the victims said the suspects seemed familiar.
